The GLA hearing of the AELTC planning application will take place at City Hall (The Chamber, Kamal Chunchie Way, London E16 1ZE) on Friday 27th September (start time, 10am, doors open 8:30am - strict airport style security). Demonstration outside from around 8:30/9am.
Group Travel Option for City Hall
If you wish to travel with other Save Wimbledon Park supporters, please meet at Wimbledon Station, SW trains platform to Waterloo at 7:10am for a swift departure at 7:15am (please buy tickets in advance if you need them).
Southfields residents may find it more convenient to travel from Southfields Station (estimated time 1 hour 15 minutes (although there are signal problems on the District Line this week that may case delays) or from Earlsfield Station (estimated travel time 1 hour).

Demonstration
A demonstration will take place outside City Hall from around 8:30-9am onwards. Please bring placards and wear your Save Wimbledon Park T-shirt if you have one, or something eye catching for a photo shoot. (Placards may need to be left outside the chamber if you are going in and collected later).
The Hearing
Although the hearing starts at 10am, it is likely to run into mid/later afternoon, so do feel free to join later. Places are limited to 140, although more capacity may be made available on the day and some people may leave after a few hours.
